· Starting sequence (compressor start)
Do not turn on the air conditioner immediately before starting the engine. The correct practice is to wait until the engine starts and runs stably, and then turn on the air conditioning system. This is because the air conditioner will consume a large amount of current and power at the moment of starting, and if it is turned on when the engine is not stabilized, it will additionally increase the burden on the engine, which may lead to unstable engine speed, increased fuel consumption, and even affect the normal service life of the engine.
In addition, it is recommended to run the air conditioner at idle once a week for a few minutes each time. Doing so can prompt the oil in the air conditioning system to circulate, ensuring that the compressor components are fully lubricated. This is because when the compressor is not running for a long time, the internal lubricating oil may precipitate, resulting in insufficient lubrication of some parts. Regularly idling the air conditioner can effectively prevent the compressor from jamming due to lack of oil, to ensure the normal operation of the compressor.
· Temperature Setting
When setting the air conditioning temperature, the actual demand and external environment should be fully considered. Avoid setting the temperature too low, generally speaking, set the temperature within the range of human comfort. Too low a temperature will not only increase the load of the engine, resulting in increased fuel consumption, but also may make the cab due to sudden changes in temperature and feel uncomfortable, and even cause colds and other diseases.
Reasonable temperature setting can not only ensure the comfort of the cab, but also reduce energy consumption and extend the service life of the engine. For example, in summer when the outdoor temperature is high, the air conditioning temperature is set at 24 - 26 ℃ is more appropriate; and in winter, according to the actual situation will be the temperature appropriately adjusted up.
· The choice of air mode
According to the actual need to choose the appropriate wind mode, such as blowing the face, blowing feet, blowing glass, etc.. Different wind patterns can meet different needs.
In winter, selecting the foot blowing mode can increase the temperature of the cab. Because hot air rises naturally, the foot blowing mode can circulate the hot air from the feet, warming up the whole cab faster and allowing the driver to feel warm in a cold environment.
In the summer, on the other hand, select the face blowing mode to get a better cooling effect. The cold air blowing directly to the face can quickly take away the heat from the surface of the human body, relieving the discomfort caused by the high temperature and enabling the driver to stay awake and comfortable at work.
· Inside and outside the cycle switch
When in a poor air quality or dusty environment, it is recommended to use the internal circulation mode. The internal circulation mode can prevent the outside air from entering the cab, effectively reducing the impact of dust, odor, harmful gases, etc. on the interior of the cab, and keeping the air inside the cab relatively clean.
However, after using the internal circulation for a long time, you should switch to the external circulation mode appropriately. This is because a long time of internal circulation will lead to a lack of air circulation inside the cab, and the concentration of carbon dioxide and other exhaust gases will increase, making the driver feel oxygen-deprived and sleepy, and affecting work safety. Appropriate switching to the external circulation mode can ensure the circulation of air inside the driver's cab, so that fresh air enters the driver's cab and improves the air quality inside the driver's cab.
