Heavy rains poured down, and mountain floods
raged. From the evening of August 7 to the morning of August 8, heavy rains
continuously fell in Yuzhong County and other Lanzhou City, Gansu Province, triggering mountain floods. In an instant, roads were destroyed,
power was cut off, communications were interrupted, and mountain floods
carrying debris swept away houses.
In Gansu Province, which was ravaged by torrential rains, the XCMG Emergency Rescue Team and service personnel worked
against the clock to participate in rescue operations, collaborating with local
dealers and customers who had voluntarily come to assist. They ensured that the
Armed Police Traffic Corps could work continuously for over 72 hours. More than
10 XCMG machines actively participated in repair and reconstruction efforts in
key disaster-affected areas such as the Xinglong Mountain Scenic Area and Yaopo
Village, working together to protect their beautiful homeland.
At the power repair site in Yaopo Village, a
customer voluntarily drove an XCMG excavator to the scene. Three excavators and
one loader roared their engines, their arms swinging powerfully. Four rescue
team members and five XCMG service personnel worked closely with the power
department to repair damaged lines, having already repaired five power poles
spanning over 300 meters. From dawn to dusk, the equipment has been operating
continuously, with plans to continue working through the night until midnight,
all to bring light and warmth to the affected residents as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, three XCMG machines have formed a
“mud clearance task force,” clearing over 100 meters of mud and debris in the
muddy and rubble-filled terrain. They are operating at full capacity, working
efficiently to remove obstacles hindering rescue and reconstruction efforts.
This arduous task is expected to last three days, with efforts focused on
clearing roads to facilitate the orderly progression of subsequent operations.
Behind the efficient operation of the rescue
equipment lies the emergency support from the XCMG Emergency Rescue Team and
local clients. An elite team comprising rescue team members, drivers, and
service engineers has remained steadfast on the front lines. They work
alongside the equipment, battling until late at night each day to ensure every
piece of construction machinery is in optimal condition for deployment, serving
as the “hardcore” backbone of the rescue lifeline!
From emergency response and disaster relief
to recovery and reconstruction, XCMG Group has always been at the forefront.
The roar of machinery is the bugle call to clear the lifeline; the busy figures
working late into the night embody the company's commitment to social
responsibility. XCMG's golden brand not only shines at major engineering sites
but also steps forward when people need it most!
