Recently, the 2022 Dominican Agricultural Expo with the theme of "continuously promoting Dominican agricultural development" was held in capital Santo Domingo. ZOOMLION brought its agricultural machinery series paddy field products including tractors, rotary cultivators and harvesters to the exhibition, attracting considerable attention of local visitors. Zhang Run, Chinese Ambassador to Dominican Republic, and Dominican Minister of Agriculture, Cruz, attended the exhibition and visited ZOOMLION booth.

The brand-new RN1104 tractor exhibited can be used for both paddy fields and dry land, featuring strong power, easy operation, outstanding mud and water resistance, and light and sensitive control; FH100E grain crawler harvester offers great trafficability in muddy fields, with better cleaning effect and less impurities, suitable for the operating conditions of paddy fields in Dominica. As a new type of paddy field protective tillage machine, the crawler self-propelled rotary cultivator has little damage to the soil, and has good trafficability. It can be equipped with various tools to realize rotary cultivating and transportation.

Cruz, Dominican Minister of Agriculture, said that ZOOMLION Agricultural Machinery has made outstanding contributions in promoting the development of agricultural mechanization in Dominica. The sugarcane harvester donated by ZOOMLION not only benefited many sugarcane farmers, but actively promoted the development of the Dominican sugarcane industry. In the future, Dominica will deepen cooperation with ZOOMLION Agricultural Machinery in the fields of mechanization of the whole process of rice production, and introduce advanced agricultural technology and machinery from China to boost the rapid development of Dominican agriculture.
