On 1 August 2023, ACNTRUCK travelled to the
coastal city of Qingdao, China.
Qingdao has a temperate, four-season,
monsoon-influenced climate that lies in the transition between the humid
subtropical and humid continental regimes. Qingdao is located in the north
temperate monsoon region and has a temperate monsoon climate. Due to the direct
regulation of the marine environment, the city is influenced by the southeast
monsoon and the currents and water masses from the ocean, so it also has
significant maritime climate characteristics.
The first impression visitors get of Qingdao is one of a beautiful city with red tiles, green trees, blue oceans, bluer sky and the Taoist holy site of Laoshan. Qin Shi Huang once visited here to view the sea, Xu Fu made the long journey from here to Dongpu and this is where the May Fourth Movement began. European countries have all left their own mark here, including an annual International Beer Fest, so there are many well-preserved old buildings combining German and Asian features. This is one of northern China's rare seaside resort towns that is also replete with a romantic artistic flavor. Qingdao's seafood and beer are enchanting to visitors. The Tsingdao Beer Museum and brewery is a huge attraction.
We visited May 4th Square, which is located
on the southeast coast of Qingdao City. It was built to commemorate the “May
4th Movement.” The square symbolized the “May Wind” of Qingdao. It is very
beautiful at night under the lights. In summer, we enjoy the sea view, looking
out at the lighthouse opposite the bay and the sailboats docked at the Olympic
Sailing Center. The sunset by the sea is very beautiful here. If you're ever in
the beautiful city of Qingdao then May 4th square is certainly a must-see
attraction. It really just takes your breath away. It's a super great spot for
a lovely evening stroll and great conversation.
In the afternoon, a heavy rainfall landed
in Qingdao, but a spectacular view was seen at dusk after the rain, attracting
us to wander along the beach to appreciate the scenery.
After this trip, everyone in bubbly mood. We are look forward to next team building!
